As much as I loved admiring paintings as a child, I realized I was not a painter. But all hope was not lost, because photography is painting with light!
I was introduced intimately to the art of photography by a close friend. After admiring his work, I was driven to create my own images! As fate would have it my high school opened a photo lab during my senior year. With the help of this same friend, I landed my first part-time job at a local camera store a year later.
I use 35mm film and digital format cameras. Over the last 38 years, I have tried my hand at a few photographic specialties. I've captured images of landscapes, portraiture, and weddings. This includes the Los Angeles Harbor. My love for photography has afforded me some published works and several awards. A few of my images were printed on calendars and magazine covers.
I am currently a resident of Palmdale California. Presently, I am enchanted by the surreal qualities of infrared photography. Within this specialty, I have found the painter in me!
